Design Guide 15: Rehabilitation and Retrofit Guide: Historic Shapes and Specifications

This Design Guide includes reference data for wrought iron and steel shapes that have been discontinued, beginning with shapes produced in 1873. An historical review of the ASTM material standards beginning in 1900 and the AISC specifications from the 1st edition in 1923 to the 1999 LRFD Specification for Structural Steel Buildings is included.
