Marketing claims are easy to make.  Making beneficial assumptions, selecting the “right” methodology and limiting the scope of a study can always result in a positive message.  The wood industry is quite aggressive in the claims they make about the sustainability and resilience of wood products used for structural framing.  We would like to encourage you to take a few minutes and evaluate the basis for those claims.
