Welding Competitions
As more workplace veterans retire, the shortage of skilled laborers to replace them is becoming a pressing industry concern.
One way our industry members are increasing students' enthusiasm for the skilled trades is by hosting welding competitions! Not only are these competitions a fun way for students to show off their skills, but they also encourage students to seek these kinds of potentially lucrative, blue-collar positions--and give them scholarships to train for them.
