SteelDays
Connect with Your Future Workforce
People can't be what they can't see--and that's crucial for teenagers figuring out their careers.
SteelDays is a perfect opportunity to give local high school students exposure to structural steel fabrication and show them there are steady, lucrative options outside of four-year colleges.
During SteelDays, fabricators across the country give other AEC professionals, faculty and students, and the public a firsthand look at how structural steel powers our built environment, providing tours, demos, educational sessions, and more.
We think you're a great candidate to partner with AISC and a Career and Technical Education (CTE) center near you to host a SteelDays student event. Not only is this a chance to boost your local educational collaboration, but it's also a great way to engage and inspire your future workforce!
Want to help make a difference?
AISC’s Workforce Development webpage is full of resources to ease your planning process and ensure an engaging event, including swag giveaways, a list of useful contacts, a sample event schedule, an activity guide, and more.
Miller Electric, one of our sponsors, donated a limited quantity of Miller Student Safety packs to be raffled off at SteelDays student events in 2024. Thank you to Miller Electric for your generosity!
