Fabricated by Patriot Erectors (AISC Member, AISC Certified), The University of Texas at Austin Engineering Education and Research Center (UTEERC) Atrium is an achievement in beautiful engineering and architectural collaboration.  UTEERC is itself a center for engineering innovation, and Deans Greg Fenves and Sharon Wood (both structural engineers), made it clear from the start that engineering ingenuity should be on display throughout the building. The UTEERC is comprised of two 9-story towers for research and teaching, joined by a central Atrium.  It is in the Atrium where the most dynamic and exciting structural engineering is displayed.
