For those with access to Matlab, you may prefer to use this version here.

If you have issues during installation, make sure that you are connected to the internet during the entire install (which can take 15 minutes or so) and that you do not have a firewall blocking installation of such programs (which may be an issue especially on company computers).  If you are unsuccessful during this installation, and your computer has an old operating system, you can also try downloading and installing the previous version of MASTAN2 (v3.5.4) at the following location:  http://www.mastan2.com/download.html.  If you already have this previous version, we recommend that you install the latest version, which has many new features.

If you have time prior to the course, an excellent way to familiarize yourself with MASTAN2 is through the tutorial available at  http://www.mastan2.com/tutorial.html. Also, please note that Ed Sippel, who is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has developed a very nice tutorial for this latest version MASTAN2.  We might suggest that you start with the original tutorial found here.

We encourage your use of this wonderful educational tool for our fall Night School.  However, completion of the forthcoming “active” learning assignments is not a requirement for earning PDH credit or an EEU certificate.
