AISC member Gerdau’s new GGMULTI merchant bar product satisfies 10 different steel grades and standards and is offered in varying shapes and sizes of angles, channels and flats.
Designed for high performance in various operations of steel fabrication, the product is developed with consistent 50-ksi minimum yield strength for improved steel toughness, ductility and weldability.
GGMUTLI products took approximately one year to develop and are produced at Gerdau mills across North America including Charlotte, N.C., Cartersville, Ga., Calvert City, Ky., Jackson, Tenn., Midlothian, Texas, and Wilton, Iowa.
