Developer MetroNational’s new Treehouse - a two-story, 14,700-sq.-ft office building in Houston’s Memorial City mixed-use development - serves as a collaborative environment for stimulating ideas and, true to its name, brings outdoor elements indoors.

The building was modeled in the form of a treehouse to foster creativity in the architects, engineers and scientists who will occupy the building.

To ensure accessible collaboration, the roof features a steel and wooden bridge 45 feet above ground that connects the building to MetroNational's headquarters. AISC Member CRM Structural Services, Inc. was the steel detailer for the project. The project opened this summer.
