The National Football League's Atlanta Falcons have released a video of the 3D model of the team's new $1.4 billion stadium. The video shows details of the pin-wheel shaped, retractable roof and other key areas.

AISC Member/Certified fabricator Canam Steel will fabricate the steel for the retractable-roof stadium. The roof is comprised of eight radially organized interlocking panels that form a central overhead oculus. These movable panels will be supported by an extensive network of more than 200 steel trusses that span up to 735 feet across the length of the stadium.

The stadium, scheduled to open for the start of the 2017 football season, will seat 71,000 spectators.
