Last week AISC presented members of the project team of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice with the 2015 IDEAS2 Award for excellence in steel-frame building design during a ceremony conducted at the college. While the project was lauded for its engineering and architectural achievements, it was singled out by the contest’s jurors to receive the program’s Presidential Award of Excellence in Engineering.
