The Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) recently announced the agenda for its 44th annual convention and tradeshow to be held April 27-29 in Charlotte, N.C. Industry experts will share creative technologies, trends and ideas for steel erectors and fabricators to drive business growth, safety and productivity.
Technical sessions are designed for field personnel and feature topics such as structural bolting, preventing aerial work platform accidents, crane operator certification requirements and OSHA enforcement trends. Management sessions are designed for executives and business owners of steel erection, fabrication and general contracting businesses. These sessions will provide information on industry opportunities including AISC’s Certified Erector program and the SEAA/NCCER Ironworker Craft Training program, as well as cover a variety of topics ranging from flying robotics and subrogation to trends in healthcare and retirement plans.
