Bentley Seeks Entries for Infrastructure Awards

Last year’s Be Inspired Award winners included the Bill and Melinda Gates Hall at Cornell University, in Ithaca, N.Y., which won the award for Advancing Collaborative BIM. For more about the project, see the article “Collaboration Computes” from our October 2015 issue. (Photo: Matthew Carbone)

Bentley Systems, Inc., is accepting submissions for this year’s Be Inspired Awards. The awards, which are selected by independent juries of industry experts, recognize innovative practices in infrastructure project design, engineering, construction and operations. The deadline for entries is May 30.

Bentley users are invited to enter their projects in any phase — pre-construction/conceptual, design, construction or built. The 18 categories in this global program cover a variety of aspects of the built environment, from building and construction to project delivery, asset performance and more. A new category this year is innovation in reality modeling, showcasing projects that demonstrate excellence in reality capture and/or visualization that solved a specific design, construction or operations challenge.

The three finalists chosen for each award category will win a trip to London to present their projects at the 2016 Year in Infrastructure Conference, which will be held November 1-3 at the Hilton London Metropole in the U.K.
