AISC president Charlie Carter is slated to speak at the 2017 V1 International Steel Construction Conference, which will be held June 21-23 at the Cubo Colsubsidio in Bogotá, Colombia. He will present an overview of the new revisions of the AISC Specification (360-16), the AISC Seismic Provisions (341-16) and the AISC Code of Standard Practice (303-16). These standards are available for free at www.aisc.org/standards.
Now in its sixth year, the conference is organized by the Instituto Colombiano de la Construcción con Acero (ICCA) and features speakers from around the world, who share their insight with entrepreneurs, professionals and students involved in the steel construction industry.
