Trimble (an AISC member) has announced that it has acquired the assets of FabSuite, LLC, a North American supplier of Management Information System (MIS) solutions for steel fabrication (and also an AISC member). With the acquisition of FabSuite software—which complements the Tekla Structures and Trimble Connect software packages—Trimble's portfolio now includes the complete structural steel workflow for planning, managing, designing, modeling and fabrication.

The FabSuite software business will be part of Trimble's Buildings and Infrastructure Segment.
