The Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance (SSSBA) and the American Galvanizers Association (AGA) are launching seven webinars for bridge professionals during April and May to provide educational opportunities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The free webinars will focus on solutions for cost-effective steel bridges under 140 ft long and will award 1 PDH or 1 LU.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has caused us all to rethink our daily practices and priorities," said Dan Snyder, director of the SSSBA. "These webinars offer the opportunity for county engineers, bridge owners and others to learn more about the cost-effective, time-saving and life cycle advantages of short span steel bridges and to receive continuing education credits in the process."
Michael Barker, PhD, PE, will present the first session on "Steel Bridge Accelerated Bridge Construction Applications" on April 7. Check out the rest of the schedule here.
