The Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI) Young Engineers Committee (YEC) is hosting a free virtual tour and presentation led by Nucor on June 4. Attendees will experience a 360° tour of Nucor-Yamato Steel's Blytheville, Ark., facility, in addition to an educational presentation on steel production from three Nucor representatives. Nucor's speakers include Tabitha Stine, SE, PE, director of construction solutions services and former AISC vice president; Graham Holman, Nucor Steel Hertford County product manager; and Shane Vernon, PE, Nucor-Yamato plant metallurgist. Participants will receive one hour of continuing education credit.
