Do you want to expand your knowledge of welding from home? The American Welding Society (AWS) has launched the new video series AWS ARCademy, a crash course in welding geared toward new welders.
In the series, co-hosts Joe Young and Stephanie Hoffman of the AWS Foundation present process-related topics such as how to use common workshop tools, how to understand welding symbols, and the top five mistakes to avoid in TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
“Too many video tutorials are long-winded and cover too many topics in one video, and these videos are targeted training that is easy to follow,” Hoffman said. “Our main goal for these videos is to help those looking for some basic understanding of welding without overwhelming them.”
AWS ARCademy launched January 27, and new videos are added regularly.
