Climate Pledge Arena

Climate Pledge Arena

The engineering team behind Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena faced a puzzle: how could they support the historic 22,000-ton roof of the former KeyArena while they demolished the rest of the structure?

The answer: 3,700 tons of temporary steel framing that not only kept the roof in place but also allowed the team sufficient access and clearance to remove 680,000 cubic yards of soil and install the permanent structure around the temporary one.

Our puzzle for you is much simpler--assemble a picture of those temporary supports instead of the real thing!
