Travis Hopper is a Bridge Steel Specialist in the Steel Solutions Center for the National Steel Bridge Alliance, a division of the American Institute of Steel Construction. He represents the steel bridge industry on matters of steel bridge fabrication and construction. Travis's role with NSBA is to provide technical assistance, tools, and resources for steel bridge owners, designers, fabricators, university programs, and technical committees.

Prior to joining AISC and NSBA, Travis spent 8 years in bridge engineering consulting. His background includes the analysis, design, load rating, and rehabilitation of various bridge structures. In addition, Travis has experience in service life design and evaluation, durability, and corrosion protection of bridges. He received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University and a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. Travis is a registered Professional Engineer in California.
