AISC Releases Updated Design Guide for Structural Stainless Steel

CHICAGO - The American Institute of Steel Construction has updated its design guide on designing with structural stainless steel.
Design Guide 27, 2nd Ed., Structural Stainless Steel is based on the new Specification for Structural Stainless Steel Buildings.
"Structural stainless steel is increasingly popular, and AISC is committed to ensuring that designers have the latest guidance," said AISC Director of Manuals Margaret A. Matthew, PE. "This design guide functions as the Steel Construction Manual for the new Stainless Steel Specification. It contains many design aid tables and is a tremendously valuable resource for anyone interested in designing with structural stainless steel."
Design Guide 27 is available for download at aisc.org/publications. Like all digital design guides, it is free for AISC members.
