CTA Holiday Train

All aboard the Holiday Train! Each year, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) decorates a train with seasonal images and thousands of twinkling lights and sends it throughout the city to deliver holiday cheer and baskets of donated food.

The CTA is currently modernizing 10 miles of elevated track to increase speed and capacity for this and its many year-round trains. Learn all about the Red and Purple Modernization Phase One project with our webinar--happening Tuesday, December 13!
