AISC has purchased 500 copies of the inspiring children's book, Rosie Revere Engineer by Andrea Beaty, to encourage kids to pursue a career in engineering. We're making these books available to you at no charge so that your employees can donate them to their local school libraries during National Engineers Week (EWeek), which will be celebrated February 18-24, 2018. 

Funded by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951, EWeek is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers. Mentoring and educating our children today will lead to a brighter future for the domestic structural steel industry tomorrow.

AISC is joining the coalition of more than 70 engineering, education and cultural societies, as well as more than 50 corporations and government agencies, dedicated to raising public awareness of engineers' positive contributions to quality of life. AISC is engaged in the effort to educate future engineers, and we invite you to participate as well.
