AASHTO Updates: What's New in the 8th Edition Steel Specification - Part 2 [B9]

With each update to the AASHTO Design Specification come changes that can sometimes be misinterpreted, not understood or missed entirely. This session will focus on the upcoming changes to the Steel Design section of the next AASHTO LRFD Design Specification which will hopefully make the update more seamless.

Part 2 of this series will conclude the discussion of what is new in the Steel Design section of the new 8th Edition AASHTO LRFD Design Specification. Included as part of this session will be a detailed presentation of the new procedures for designing bolted splices with example.
