AISC Code of Standard Practice--The Latest and Greatest [N18]

Barring specific contractual provisions to the contrary, AISC's Code of Standard Practice defines and governs existing trade practices considered to be the standard custom and usage of the steel industry. When did you last review what's in it? Key members of the COSP Committee will discuss its makeup and decision making process, emphasizing changes made in the most recent cycle. Speakers from various disciplines (i.e. engineer, fabricator, erector, and lawyer) will review the Code sections most relevant to their field of expertise. Topics under consideration in the current cycle will be reviewed. A time for Q & A will be provided.
