ASCE 37: Design Loads on Structures During Construction [E17a]

ASCE 37 provides design load requirements for partially-completed structures as well as temporary structures used during construction.  This presentation will focus on this standard's loading parameters, and how, when, and why an erection engineer addresses the temporary bracing of the structural steel to ensure stability and safety.  It will also demonstrate how a collaborative steel team (fabricator/erector/erection engineer) applies and/or modifies the standard's loading parameters while still adhering to the AISC Code of Standard Practice.

This course is based on a past NASCC session.

You must purchase and a quiz to receive a PDH certificate for this course.
