This presentation identifies the problems that can arise after a workplace disaster, and describes the steps employers should take to prepare and respond to the inevitable chaos. While legal implications will be emphasized, the presentation will focus on the practical steps an employer can and should take to prepare. For example, it will answer such questions as: Who do I call? What can I say to police, fire, and OSHA? Who should do the talking? How can I cooperate without laying a trap for the Company? What do I do with the crew? What investigation should I be undertaking immediately?
