Design with Damping

This presentation provides an introduction to the concepts of design approaches that incorporate structural damping as an important tool for structural problems. Wind and seismic applications are presented along with specialized applications such as uses in local vibration control, applications to flexible structures and damage-control design for seismic applications.

This course is based on a past NASCC session.
