Retrofitting Existing Buildings with Steel Joists [E24]

We'll dig into this subject in three parts. First, we'll go over examples of joists that need to be retrofitted. Then we will demonstrate methods to evaluate existing open web steel joists and joist girders for revised loading conditions. Finally, we'll examine how to modify existing open web joists.
