Seismic Design in Steel - Complete Course

This course consists of 8 - 1.5 hour sessions that provides engineers with guidance so that they are ready to apply the AISC seismic design requirements correctly and efficiently on typical projects in regions of moderate or high seismicity. The course begins with an introduction to earthquakes as a significant load case, structural dynamics and seismic demand. The course addresses moment-frame behavior, braced-frame behavior and presented the formal relationship of codes in the US with regards to seismic design.  The course then presents in-depth discussions on building analysis, diaphragm design, the design of moment frames and the design of braced frames.

Course outline can be found here.
