Working with Large Trusses
Whether they are 2D or 3D, long or deep, or architectural or industrial, one of the biggest challenges with trusses is manipulation. This session will provide examples of how one goes about selecting splice locations, setting the jig, and rotating, transporting, flipping and lifting trusses. Success depends on custom temporary support structures and special field connections. Real projects will be used to illustrate good practice.
This course is based on a past NASCC session.
