The first supplement to AISC’s Prequalified Connections for Special and Intermediate Steel Moment Frames for Seismic Applications (AISC 358-16) is available for public review until October 6, 2017. This document adds a new prequalified connection – the SSDA Slotted Web Moment Connection – and expands the scope of prequalification for the SidePlate moment connection in Chapter 11.
