When you enter the main boarding concourse of the IDEAS² Award-winning Moynihan Train Hall, it’s impossible not to notice the enormous steel roof trusses spanning the skylight. These trusses are, in fact, original to the building.
With their latticed design and immense strength after more than 110 years of support, they showcase the functional elegance--not to mention resilience--of structural steel.
