2022 Seismic Provisions for Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing Structural Steel Buildings Available for Public Review

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHICAGO - A draft of the 2022 edition of the AISC Seismic Provisions for Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing Structural Steel Buildings (AISC 342) is now available for public review and comment.

The standard will provide provisions to be used with ASCE/SEI 41 for the seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing structural steel buildings.

The draft will be available as a free download at aisc.org/publicreview between July 6 and August 2, 2021. Printed copies are also available (for a $35 nominal charge) by calling 312.670.5411. Commentary to this draft of AISC 342 is available upon request by emailing Rachel Jordan at jordan@aisc.org.
