Code of Standard Practice for Structural Stainless Steel Buildings Available for Second Public Review

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHICAGO - The new AISC Code of Standard Practice for Structural Stainless Steel Buildings (AISC 313) is available for its second public review through December 11, 2020. 

This new standard sets forth criteria for the trade practices involved in the design, purchase, fabrication, and erection of structural stainless steel buildings.

The draft Code will be available as a free download at aisc.org/publicreview between November 13 and December 11, 2020. Any new revisions made since the first public review period are indicated with tracking marks in the draft. Printed copies are also available (for a $35 nominal charge) by calling 312.670.5411. 

Please submit comments using the form provided online or to Cynthia J. Duncan, AISC’s director of engineering (duncan@aisc.org), by December 11, 2020, for consideration.
