Winona Bridge
The Winona Bridge in Minnesota won a Prize Bridge Award in 2020 for a retrofit to modernize the bridge and add redundancy while honoring its status as a historic landmark. As a result, it became the first through-truss bridge in the Midwest to have internal redundancy added throughout the structure! Get a better look at the steel under the bridge deck with our puzzle of the week!
Feeling curious about redundancy after reading the new white paper from NSBA? We have just the session for you at the World Bridge Symposium at NASCC: The Steel Conference!
