Jonathan is a licensed professional engineer and a Structural Steel Specialist with the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) serving the New York City market. He works to develop the structural steel market by consulting with architects, engineers, and developers to explore construction opportunities and build business relationships. Jonathan previously worked in AISC's Steel Solutions Center providing technical assistance to the design industry on all issues related to structural steel and worked closely with the Specialists on conceptual steel building framing for real-world opportunities. He oversaw the development of the AISC 303-22 Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges and currently oversees the development of the N690 Specification for Safety-Related Steel Structures for Nuclear Facilities. Jonathan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
