Larry Flynn is AISC's structural steel specialist serving the Florida market. Larry's role is to increase the use of structural steel in the Florida area while building relationships with the AEC community and serving as a valued resource for steel innovations and information to help AEC professionals design and build better with structural steel.

Before becoming steel specialist for Florida, Larry spent 12 years in a national marketing role with AISC's market development department where he directed AISC's annual IDEAS² Awards building design competition and was responsible for trade show participation. Prior to joining AISC, he served the AEC industry as a design and construction industry editor and journalist covering building, bridge, and infrastructure design and construction for national trade publications. He is a graduate of Indiana University.
