Group registration FAQs

Q. What is group registration?

A: Group registration is intended to allow multiple people in one office (full, associate, affiliate, and professional companies) to participate in the webinar. Whether you watch at your own computers or together in one room, everyone who participates can earn their own certificate from AISC. However, each participant must be on your current company roster. If you have non-members in your office, contact our membership department at membership@aisc.org to update your membership roster.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of people that participate under a group registration?

A: Everyone on your company roster can participate in the webinar. For professional member companies, the maximum roster size is based on a tiered structure.  Our membership fees can be found on the applications here.

Q: How can I register other people so that they can watch at their own connection (work-from-home or their own desk)?

A: First, start a group registration. Click on the “Register Myself” button then choose option “2a. Group Registration.” To add other people now, click on the “Register Someone Else” button. If you choose “Select an existing user,” a list of people on your company roster should populate a list.  Make your selection and click on the “Save & Close” button. Choose option “2b. Group Registration (Additional Connection).” You can repeat this process to add other people. Click on to “Proceed to Checkout” when you are finished.

Q: Do I have to register everyone now?

A: No, you do not need to register everyone now. If you would like to add additional registrants later, you can return to the registration. Once a group registration is complete for one person in a company, others on the company roster can even register themselves under option “2b. Group Registration (Additional Connection)”.

Q: Can I have other people register themselves?

A: Once a group registration is complete for one person in a company, others on the company roster can even register themselves. To register yourself once someone else in the company has signed up for a group registration, log in to the event registration. Click on the “Register Myself” button then choose option 2b, Group Registration (Additional Connection). Click on to “Proceed to Checkout” when you are finished. If this option is not available, the person’s account records may not be associated with your company. If you would like to add someone to your company roster that is not showing up on the list, please contact our membership department at membership@aisc.org.

Q: How can I register other people if we plan to watch together (conference room)?

A: If you plan to watch with other people, register for option 2a, Group Registration. Keep a record of attendance. After the webinar is complete, you will receive an email notification that you may report attendance for everyone that watched with you. Access the registration link in the email. Click on the “Register Someone Else” button. If you choose “Select an existing user,” a list of people on your company roster should populate a list.  Make your selection and click on the “Save & Close” button. Choose Group Participant. You can repeat this process to add other people. Click on to “Proceed to Checkout” when you are finished.

Q: What if I want to add someone who is not showing up on the list?

A: If you are trying to register someone from your company as an additional participant and their name does not show up on the list, either they do not have an account with AISC or their account records are not associated with your company. If you would like to add someone to your company roster that is not showing up on the list, please contact our membership department at membership@aisc.org.
