Bridge Load Rating Engineer

Andrew is a bridge load rating engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation - Bureau of Structures. He specializes in refined analysis methods for load rating and permitting of some Wisconsin’s more complex bridges. Over the past few years he has been actively involved in efforts to load rate for Special Haul Vehicles and the more recent Emergency Vehicles. He is also involved in the repair and strengthening of bridges related to bridge hits, structure deterioration and load posting avoidance efforts. He joined WisDOT in 2010 after graduating from Marquette University with a BS and MS in Civil Engineering.
