In Memoriam: Hugh A. Krentz

AISC Remembers Legendary SE Les Robertson
The steel design community suffered a huge loss Thursday when Leslie E. Robertson, whose career came to be defined by his work on the World Trade Center, died following a diagnosis of blood cancer. “We've lost a giant whose work will continue to speak volumes for generations to come,” said AISC President Charles J. Steel Industry and Labor Urge Biden to Keep Steel Tariffs in Place

AISC 370 will encompass the design, fabrication, and erection of austenitic and duplex structural stainless steels: sections made from annealed sheet, strip, and plate that have not been subsequently cold-formed or rolled; hollow structural sections; round and square bar, annealed and cold-finished; and hot-rolled or extruded shapes.
